Pisac Temple
This was the first of our walks up a mountain.  It seemed like a hard walk.  Near the beginning there was a steep flight of "stairs".  These "stairs" caused a few to wait for the rest to return.  About 9 of us went ahead. On a very narrow part of the trail I was walking, as I often do, with a shoe lace untied. In the fourth picture on this page, Diane C., the woman in blue, stopped and taught me how to tie shoes so they would not come untied.

After a while I got tired and was slowing up the rest of the group.  Thus I decided to not go all the way to the top.  While I was resting and preparing to go down alone Pat R., the woman in white, came back  a couple hundred yards for me and told me that I was almost to the top.  I was only 3-400 yards from the top but did not realize it.  I really appreciated her thoughtfulness, as the temple was well worth the effort.

We three left to come down before the others.  I was escorted by my two saviors.  This was just one example of how nice the people on the tour were.  Thanks again.
