***** taken or timeRaising the Flag on Iwo Jima,
The featured pair is Alan and Kathleen,  I remember walking to this memorial in Arlington, VA is.
***** We volunteered at E. J. Thomas Concert Hall and at Akron Civic Theater, both operated by U of A. Combined we had about 25 years.  Saw some wonderful productions. We were at times surprised at what we liked and what we did not. We are dressed for a party honoring the volunteers,  Most did not dress up as requested.  We loved the party and even more the ushering experiences.
(1960s Delete pic?)Lots of mystery about this picture.  I was working for American Motors calling on dealers. I saw this carving a couple times probably in Van Wert OH. as you know I spent several summers on the farm in Van Wert IA. One day I stopped to look at it.  Who took the picture for me, some passer by?  Why did I want it. Why did I keep it?  This would have been in the 1960's.  Anyway, here it is.

My Mother

DC Mall, July 1994,  My first month of retirement, Washington Monument shared with Rajan, Kathleen and Maya,
******Kathleen, Richard and Rajan look happy walking on the rocks in the water,  I do not know where or when this was taken.

Kathleen and Maya while Kathleen was visiting tin England.  This was March 1994.  I was going to retire in about 100 days.
July 20, 1994. I was so fortunate  to have Kathleen for so many years.  This was probably taken in DC. Her blouse is so familiar we were together so often while she wore it.  Brings back so many memories,  I just realized that when I retired my hair was not white.  Amazing.
******This was taken at a state park in Florida not far from Sarasota.  We were visiting Pat and Roy.  The people in the picture are unknown,  This was the only time when Kathleen and I walked on a raised walkway in a forest. It was fun. So much wild life in this park. Lots of alligators, none of which bit us.

*******Aunt Buffy and James Claypool.  Interesting picture style
