The porch was a great place to sleep. The cool nighttime breezes were refreshing, and often cold. When awake, I loved listening to the breeze blowing through the trees. Often it sounded as if it were raining, When I opened my eyes there was no rain, just the breeze. For years I was reminded of Winnetaska when ever I heard that sound .
