I never considered any University but OSU.

The Army was good to me.
The experience I had teaching was a key to my future.
This certific shows 1961 as the date I left the army. My active discharge was November 1955.
Since I decided not to participate in the Army Reserves I was discharged from the reserves in 1961.

I took this course for fun and to learn to learn the Bridge Laws
,
Later it was a key to co-owning a bridge club.
I taught a few math and computer classes while I was a student.
With out this course and the interactions with very helpful friends and
University Staff I would never have had my favorite job.

My last 10 years were at The University Of Akron with the title Senior Academic Programmer Analyst.
Our group was responsible
for many different tasks.
We helped solve computer problems for students
of all
academic levels and Staff and faculty.
I established and maintained two graphic labs. Monthly updated
the main-frame computer,
Installed, and tested and programs for departments doing research. Even seminars when needed.
Every day was different and I especially enjoyed the problem solving.
A friend asked me two questions.
Why should I buy a Ford and if I do, why from you. Maybe the best job of teaching I ever received. Not many days later another salesman sold two customers that
I talked to but did not sell.
Twice awakened! With
that education I started to learn. |
Looking back, I Learned something else. Be interested and learn what and when you can.
One never knows when some experiance you have had will be just what you need in the future.
