We drove from The Arecibo Observatory to the Isabela area with no problems. A very pleasant drive. Richard wanted to find a special beach that he had read about on a web page. The directions on the web page were perfect, except that they did not direct you anywhere near the beach. Finally after wandering around and asking a few people we found the it. It was not at all as described, but it was rather nice. We walked up and down the beach, talked to a couple from the east coast of Puerto Rico that had rented a place for the month, and then decided we better find a room for the night.
We went back to the Ocean Front hotel, we had gotten directions for the beach from two people in the restaurant earlier. They had one room left. We all looked at the room, scratched out heads and wondered if we should stay there. The room looked like making it a hotel room had been an afterthought. There was an entrance room almost like an enclosed porch at a cottage. The bed room part was very small, no tiny. Around the corner in the 'porch' there was a kitchen including a working refrigerator. The bathroom was huge. There were no hooks anywhere in the rooms to hang anything, even towels. The air conditioner in the bedroom worked and we were 15 feet from the Atlantic, so there we stayed.
We went to the restaurant for dinner. Our table was directly in front of a picture window, and not more that 15 feet from the beach. The waitress, who had helped us earlier, was delightful. The food was very good, the view was great, and we were treated as well as we could be treated. I asked if I could have vegetables instead of french fries, and they were graciously served. Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean with great company, a good dinner, and good service. What more could we ask for.
Before we left the restaurant we asked if there was a Panaderia, near by. A Panaderia is like a bakery which might also serve sandwiches. There was one about a half mile away. After leaving the restaurant, we went down to the beach and walked up and down the beach before it got too dark to see.
The next morning we got up and went to the Panaderia. It was great. There were scrumptious baked goods and a wide variety of other things in this compact building. We bought food and took it back to our room. We ate breakfast at a table outside our room overlooking the Ocean on a bright, sunny morning. Bliss.
After eating we again went to the beach and enjoyed the sand and the water. Yes, the decision to stay here was the correct one. We enjoyed our stay.

We then set out for the
west
coast not knowing how far we would drive. We want to see the
Rincon
area, and maybe get to the Phosphorescent Sea vicinity.
