Richard has been retired about a month and here we are exploring the D.C. Mall. 		Richard is at a park in Phoenix AZ.
They have excellent make believe people. Example, he went into a building, talked to a guard and could not understand why he did not answer!

July 1999: This wonderful idea of mine did not turn out well,  Alan, Kathleen and I were white water rafting at Ohiopyle, PA. Alan is pointing to me in the water as I was tossed out.  That part was scary but fun.  The bad part was Kathleen broke a bone in her knee. This caused a lot of problems as you can imagine. KK is partly hidden by Alan's arm.

 Kathleen at the Cotswolds in England.  March 1994.  She was visiting while I stayed in Ohio. I was three months from retireing.  She probably stayed three weeks. Kathleen looks different in this picture, but just as wonderful.

did enjoy the trip.
By the way, Richard has never been to Scotland. 		The Meteor Crater not far east of Flagstaff AZ. I think we walked almost all the way around it. It is he only meteor crater we have ever seen. It was interesting, a worth while stop.

One Summer Jean spent a month or so on the farm
at the same time as I did. Her mother was Neal's sister.
We kept in touch with her for the rest of her life.






Kathleen and Maya while Kathleen was visiting in England.  This was March 1994.  I was going to retire in about 100 days.
 July 20, 1994. I was so fortunate  to have Kathleen for so many years.  This was probably taken in DC. Her blouse is so familiar we were together so often while she wore it.  It brings back so many memories,  I just realized that when I retired my hair was not white.  Amazing!
 This was taken at a state park in Florida not far from Sarasota.  We were visiting Pat and Roy.  The people in the picture are unknown,  This was the only time Kathleen and I walked on a raised walkway in a forest. It was fun. So much wild life in this park. Lots of alligators, none of which bit us.

12/3/1997 Marleen, Kathleen and I were fascinated by these sand dunes.  We had no idea they existed in Eastern California..  We were not the only ones exploring here.  We spent over an hour wandering around and could have stayed longer..  1997.
 It looks like Rajan is on a farm somewhere.
He looks happy and content with the world,

The Mudambi Family.  We had hoped
to go on the high chair ride from Mt Blanc,
but was closed due to fog. Kathleen enjoyed
